Pretty much for the birds

The rains have passed for the time being, and the sun is heating things up, meaning that the weeds are taking off. The Scotch Broom has seed pods so I'll be cutting it down and then drenching the stumps. The tansy, thistles and blackberries will just get painted.

In fact, the process has begun. Yet, around every corner there seems to be more than last year, even with me being diligent and all. Never mind the flower beds around the house. Those have to wait until the wind dies down. Tomorrow, perhaps, even though there are plenty of flowering types going to seed.

We're starting to make noise that we'll be here another year, at least.

Which isn't a bad thing, all things considered.

All taken with my Canon PowerShot SX50 HS at 1200mm.

  1. Have you really taken down the "For Sale" signs, or found the next landing site? An Apt or smaller place.

Large city or village of some type.

    Liked the photos.

    1. Thanks for the like.

Never was a sign, just word of mouth in the off chance someone might know someone. We're moving slow for a number of reasons, a primary one being a failure to settle on where to. North remains an option but six months or more of wet and cool gets old for these bones. Grandkids are in HI but I may have a bit too much spunk left in me for just watching the ocean while I write my memoirs. Ha!
